Catering & meals to go

Provisions offers a wide range of wholesome and delicious platters and box lunches for business meetings or other get-togethers. (For more complex or custom catering, please visit our sister business, Marché Catering.)

You may order box lunches for pickup here on our website.

One platter is wonderful for a light reception for the specified number of people. Two or three platters make for a slightly more substantial event. Four or five platters can stand in for a meal.

We also offer quiches at a per-item cost.

ORDERING & LOGISTICS

HOW DO I ORDER?

Any of the platters below can be ordered to pick up at Provisions, or to be delivered as part of a catering at your home or office. For small orders, please allow 24 hours notice. For more than 50 people, please give us four days notice. (If you have a party-platter emergency, we’ll do what we can as quickly as we can – just call.)

DELIVERY AND SETUP

Your order can be picked at Provisions, or we can deliver your order right to you. For small orders or deliveries beyond the downtown core, there is a $25 delivery charge. If you would like us to set up your buffet and provide disposable plates and utensils, there’s a $30 setup fee.

CAFÉ PLATTERS

Artisan cheeses add an elegant touch to any event, as an hors d’oeuvre or a dessert course. Our cheese experts have designed a number of artisan cheese platters for the discerning palate, each including cow’s milk, sheep’s milk and goat’s milk cheeses, plus a blue cheese. For a more casual event, our café cheese platter offers an array of tasty, familiar cheeses in slightly larger amounts.

An assortment of elegant artisan cheeses, with roasted local Evonuk Farm hazelnuts and fruit chutney served with a provisions bread basket. 10

CHARCUTERIE AND SALUMI PLATTERS

CHARCUTERIE

The French do beautiful work in charcuterie-curing meats and preparing all sorts of wonderful pâtés and terrines. We’ve applied this rich tradition to our local products, using the classic recipes and techniques. On our charcuterie platter, you’ll find pâté maison, pork rilletes and special seasonal offerings. Each platter includes cornichons, stone ground mustard and niçoise olives served with a provisions bread basket. 8

SALUMI

The Italian equivalent to charcuterie, the salumi tradition is focused on air-cured pork and salami. Provisions salumi platters contain house-cured meats and products from Paul Bertolli’s Fra’Mani and Armandino Batali’s Salumi Artisan. Each platter includes citrus-marinated olives and fruit mostarda. 5

SEASONAL PLATTERS

GLORIOUS NORTHWEST

A sampling of the flavors of Oregon – pair this with some wine from the Willamette Valley to welcome a newcomer or just to celebrate this wonderful region. This platter includes smoked salmon mousse, Rogue Creamery blue cheese, roasted hazelnuts with sea salt and Oregon pear chutney, served with a provisions bread basket. 8

GRILLED AND ROASTED VEGETABLE PLATTER

Seasonally-changing oven-roasted and grilled vegetables-a perfect accompaniment to dinner from the grill or a wonderful addition to an hors d’oeuvres party. These delicious vegetables are served with housemade herb aïoli for dipping. 5

PROVENÇAL PLATTER

We call on the bold flavors of the sunny South of France for this crowd-pleaser. Roasted red pepper spread, olive tapenade, herbed goat cheese, toasted almonds, Provisions croutes and Mediterranean olives make for a light, simple platter. 4.5

ANTIPASTI PLATTER

A delicious sampling of salumi, Italian cheeses and marinated seasonal vegetables, olives and fruit mostarda. This platter offers a wonderful mix to please a variety of tastes. 6

SMOKED FISH

Explore the wonderful flavors of the sea with our house-smoked sturgeon, trout and salmon, served with crème fraiche, lemon, pickled red onion and capers, served with crackers & rye toasts. 11

VEGETABLE CRUDITÉ

A seasonally-changing selection of colorful blanched and raw vegetables with housemade buttermilk vinaigrette and seasonal dressing for dipping. 5

TEA SANDWICHES

A selection of delicate tea sandwiches on our pain de mie – lovely for a light lunch or tea party. 5

Flavors: curried shrimp salad, goat cheese & chive, grilled chicken & pesto, smoked salmon, classic egg salad, cucumber & cream cheese

FRUIT PLATTER

Seasonally-changing selection of fruits, from winters citrus & tropical fruits to spring strawberries, summer stone fruit & berries or fall’s pear & apple harvest. 5

 

 

MEALS TO GO

These casual menu items are designed to travel and hold well, with simple reheating possibilities or easy chafing-dish presentation. No on-site chefs or servers are necessary (unless you’d like us there to help, of course). Each portion serves 10-12 people, depending on your menu mix & appetite.

Box Lunches

Each box lunch includes a sandwich, a side, and a sweet and costs $12.50. You may order one or more box lunches online and they will be ready for pickup at a time you select. Please allow at least 12 hours for a box lunch order. If you have a short lead time just give us a call, 541.743.0660
