Ingredient Kit- Falastin


Sure, you can always shop on your own, but we would be happy to pre-measure and prep ingredients into a 4-6 serving kit for you to pick up. Easy, peasy.

We will email you the detailed recipes and a Zoom link two days prior to class. Class is on November 11th at 5:30pm PDT. Please order your ingredient kit no later than Saturday, November 7th.

Shopping List:

3 lemons
2 onions, sliced in half, then each half cut into 3 wedges (2¾ cups/260g)
3 heads of garlic, skin on, sliced in half, crosswise
2 garlic cloves, crushed
6 tbsp lemon juice
½ cup/10g parsley leaves
¼ cup/5g mint leaves
1 large head cauliflower, leaves and all (2½ lb/1.2kg)
1 red chile, seeded and thinly sliced (1 tbsp/10g)
½ red onion, cut into thin rounds (mounded ½ cup/60g)
1 small butternut squash (2 lb/900g)
1 large head of garlic (about 2½ oz/70g)
4 large eggplants, charred 2 lb 2 oz/1kg)
¼ cup/5g mint leaves, torn
1 green onion, thinly sliced (2 tbsp/10g)

1 whole chicken (2¾ lb/1.3kg), cut into legs, thighs, and breasts with the wing-tips left on (or about 2 lb 2 oz/1kg of chicken legs or breasts with the wing-tips left on), skin on, if you prefer )

2 tsp sumac
¾ tsp ground allspice
4 tbsp/25g za’atar
¼ tsp ground turmeric
1½ tsp paprika
2 tsp ground cumin
8 tbsp/75ml
olive oil
Salt and black pepper
¼ cup/30g golden raisins
4 tsp cider vinegar
¼ cup/25g pine nuts, toasted
¼ cup/75g tahini
½ tsp dried mint
