Oregon’s history is rich with pioneers and innovators, people of fortitude, passion and endurance–a great many of those movers and shakers are women, and we honor them with this class. Oregon wines would not be what they are without Anna Matzinger, Luisa Ponzi and Patricia Green. Nor would Oregon cheeses grace the plates of Michelin-starred restaurants without Carine Goldin, Patricia Morford and Sarah Marcus of Goldin Artisan Goat Dairy, River’s Edge Chevre and Briar Rose Creamery. Some are local, some are transplants or immigrants, but they’ve all made their mark with verve and intelligence. Join Sam and Amanda as they sample these fantastic homegrown products and tell the stories of these incredible women.
