This class sold out so quickly we thought we would run it again.
There are literally thousands of artisan cheeses from around the world, offering multitudes of shapes, sizes, colors, and an infinite variety of flavors. If you’re interested in learning about (and tasting!) fine cheese, this class is a great place to start. We’ll be talking about the cheese families (fresh, soft bloomy-rind, soft washed-rind, pressed uncooked, pressed cooked, blue), and surveying some of the most iconic, culturally significant cheeses, sampling them and discussing exactly why they have achieved such “celebrity” status. Come learn about food and beverage pairings, the do’s and don’ts of cheese handling at home, and some helpful tips on designing beautiful cheese plates at home. Show up hungry – there will be no shortage of cheese to taste during class!
